Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of terms and conditions

Payment, completion of order form or approval of your stationery proofs are considered the acknowledgement and acceptance of the terms and conditions listed here.

2. Pricing and information

All prices are in Australian Dollars and are subject to change without notice. Whilst information contained within this website is current at time of publishing, formats and designs may also change over time without notice. As each product is customized and printed on a per guest basis, full payment must accompany the order.

3. Purchasing Outside Australia

International customers are most welcome to purchase products from Joyful Invitations, however the buyer should be aware that purchases outside Australia may attract an import tax or duty to the customer’s country which is incurred after products are sent and reach the destination country. This fee is wholly the responsibility of the customer. Joyful Invitations cannot be held liable or responsible for these additional charges or fees associated with other authorities and governments outside of the company’s base. If any queries about our postage occur, please contact us via email so we can assist you with your needs.

4. Privacy

Any personal information given to us is considered private and confidential and will not be distributed, exchanged or sold to any third party.

5. Postage and Packaging

Postage and packaging of all orders incurs a weight based fee for all deliveries both in Australia and overseas.  We also post via Australia Post so that all our items are able to be tracked.  Sample packs have postage and packaging costs set into the product price. All purchases will be delivered via Australia Post unless otherwise arranged. Joyful Invitations will not be liable for any damage whatsoever caused by third parties after postage as great care is taken to ensure our products are packaged securely. Likewise, Joyful Invitations does not take any responsibility for delays in delivery caused by third parties. The client will be advised when the package has been sent.

6. Printing

All stationery at Joyful Invitations is printed on superior machinery. Our quality control process ensures that each piece of stationery ordered has been checked for faults. This ensures that our clients receive the best possible products. One effect that digital printing may leave is a slight variation of colour between products. This is a natural effect of the printing process and not a fault. We also note that colour may vary slightly between a computer screen and the actual product. This is the result of computer screen preferences and returns / refunds will not be accepted in these instances. It is always recommended to purchase samples before ordering products to ensure complete satisfaction with the design.

7. Promotional Usage

Joyful Invitations reserve the right to use client images, testimonials and designs for promotional purposes where necessary. If the client does not wish their project to be thus used, they must notify Joyful Invitations in writing. Custom designs may also be added to the range of standard designs after initial use. Where clients publish photos showing Joyful Invitations products, acknowledgement of vendor should be given.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

After making an order with Joyful Invitations, we happily give an immediate 24 hour cooling off period where the client may cancel without incurring penalties. After the cooling off period has expired however, payment will not be refunded as the design, order and print process will have begun. It is for this reason that you should choose carefully.

9. Alterations

Using the information supplied when ordering from Joyful Invitations, a design proof will be created and sent to the client to peruse and critique. Modifications based on the client’s suggestion will be included and then sent back to the client. This is the last chance the client has to make any changes to the product or personalisation before final approval. Clients are advised to check all spelling, design and details as any further amendments will incur additional charges, as will extensive alteration (i.e. change of mind, change of theme) after the first stage proof. Careful and attentive checking by the client will help avoid possible imperfect products. Also note that Joyful Invitations will not be held responsible in any way for delays, setbacks or inconveniences because approval, guest lists for personalisation or any other necessary information has not received from the client in a timely fashion. By approving the final proof, it is sufficient for Joyful Invitations to produce the order exactly as it appears in that proof.

10. Errors

Any errors or discrepancies must be brought to our attention within seven days of receipt of products. Whilst every effort will be made by Joyful Invitations to ensure accuracy, the company will not be held accountable: it is the client’s responsibility to check all product content and layout. If an error has been present when signed off, it can be reprinted at the client’s expense. If there is a discrepancy between the final approved proof and the completed product, Joyful Invitations will reprint the item at no charge.

11. Service

Whilst Joyful Invitations endeavours to fulfill all client needs, at times it may be necessary to refuse service and we reserve the right to do this solely at our discretion.

12. Copyright

All copyright is wholly owned, reserved, authorised or credited to Joyful Invitations. No part may be reproduced in whole or part under any circumstance for to do so would be a breach of copyright. Any information or images supplied to Joyful Invitations for inclusion on a product will be considered the ownership of the client and it assumed that permission of all models and contributing artists has been granted. The submission of such articles to Joyful Invitations will mean that the client take responsibility for any consequences resulting from the use of copyright material.

13. Stock Availability

Although Joyful Invitations keeps product stocks at a high level, it is not inconceivable that unforeseen circumstances could lead to a product being unavailable. In this rare occurrence, the client will be advised of the situation and given the opportunity to change products or alternatively, a complete refund will be given. We can also inform you when the product is back in stock if so desired.
