How many invitations should I order?
If your guest list is 200 that doesn't necessarily mean that you need 200 invitations. You'll only need one invitation per married couple and one invitation per single person over 18. Children under 18 may be added to their parents invitation.
Should I order extra invitations?
We recommend that you always order 25 extras up front for last minute additions or mishaps. It's always less expensive to order 25 extra invitations with your initial order then to reorder 25 at a later date.
Can I order samples?
Absolutely, we highly recommend it. Find the invitation you're interested in and click on the image. Click on "request a sample" link located top right of large view of image. See our sample page for complete instructions.
Can I use my own verse?
Of course you can. You can also choose one of ours. When you place your order you'll be able to choose the verse that is just right for you, or add your own. Your choice.
What if children are not invited?
It would be a breach of etiquette to print “No Children” on an invitation. We recommend that your reception card says “Adult Reception” and your response card reads “Number of adults___”.
Can I choose a different typeset for the wording on my invitations?
When you place your order you can choose different lettering or typeset. Try and keep your typeset uniform for your entire ensemble. If you've chosen the Envelope Addressing option make sure it matches.
Can I change the ink color?
You can change the ink color on most invitations when you place your order. Be sure to read carefully the instructions and whether or not the invitation you're ordering is eligible.
What printing process is used?
Most of our personalized paper products are printed using thermography, which is a process which provides a beautiful raised lettering effect. Envelope flaps and holiday cards are flat printed. Foil stamping is an option for some holiday cards and many accessory items.
Is it safe to order online?
Yes, your credit information is handled by VeriSign with SSL technology. Look for the on each secure page. All credit information from this site is stored separately with restricted access. Your credit information is stored safely behind a firewall. This information is not stored on the web server.
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL): SSL technology is the highest level of security on the Internet. The Secure Sockets Layer protocol provides server authentication, data integrity and privacy on the web. SSL not only encrypts all information transmitted, but also verifies the identity of the server and the safe arrival of the original message.
How do I check order status?
Simply click on the “Order Status/Reorder” link on the home page. You will need your confirmation number and zip code to recall your order. The status of your order will be displayed. If your order has shipped, you will be able to track it online.
How do I make a change?
If you've sent your order and you've found you've made a mistake, please call us immediately. We will confirm the status of your order, and will let you know if a change can be made. Please note additional fees may be required to stop your order to make a change. We encourage you to look over your order very carefully before sending it to avoid the cost of having it reprinted.
What if I need to cancel my order?
There is a $10.00 Service fee on canceling your order. If order has already been printed you will be charged full price of the order.
How do I order more?
Contact us immediately if you discover you need to increase the quantity. We will try to catch the order before it's printed. The price for an additional 25 is always a better value than a new order for 25. Consider ordering an extra 25 in case of mistakes or last minute additions. If your order cannot be stopped before it is printed, we will notify you, and you will be charged the new order price.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. Payment is due at the time your order is placed. You may be billed a U.S. dollars sales tax on your final invoice total depending on the state you are in.
How do I place a reorder?
To place a reorder, please select the “Order Status/Reorder” link on the home page. You will need your confirmation number and zip code to recall your previous order. You can make the changes you want by editing your order and resubmitting it.
What if I'm in a rush?
Because our production time is so fast, we are unable to rush your order once it is in-house. However, we suggest you choose an expedited shipping method on the shipping screen to ensure the quickest delivery.
What shipping method do you us?
We use UPS for domestic and international shipping. Delivery time for domestic is approximately 5-7 business days, and longer for international, depending on your location. You may order expedited shipping when you place your order.
Can I ship to a PO Box?
No. UPS will only ship to a physical address.
How do I make a return?
We do our best to make sure each item is shipped exactly as it is ordered. Please contact us as soon as possible if you have a concern with your order.
What is the access code?
When an access code appears, it helps us know where you are ordering from.
Do you have a Catalog?
We do not produce mail-order catalogs.
Do you print invitations in a foreign language?
We can print foreign languages when the letters are from the English alphabet. In addition, we offer Spanish verses for wedding and Quince Años ensembles.
What are your printing limitations?
Joyful Invitations reserves the right to refuse to print any copy that may be considered harassing, profane or abusive in nature.
What if my computer freezes up while I'm ordering?
If your machine locks up, you might try to refresh or reload your page. If problems persist, please contact us so we can be of assistance. If you are in the middle of the ordering process and you freeze up, you'll need to retype and resubmit your order.
What are sequence errors?
If you receive a sequence error while processing your request, it is most likely due to using your browser's back and/or forward buttons. It is important to use the site navigation buttons, such as edit and continue. If problems persist, please contact us.
